It was a great first week of the book tour in Chicago, Baltimore, Washington, Charlottesville and back to Chicago. The weather was beautiful (80 degrees) the first part of the week. But the driving rain finally came on the last leg of the trip. Flying home in a small regionally jet, needless to say was not alot of fun.

The people I met were great. They have enjoyed the book and say they can really relate to what I am speaking about. Each person has their own great story that I can relate to as well.

In Chicago, at a seminar sponsored by ChicWit and Company of Friends, I had a chance to share thoughts and experiences with a group for a few hours. In Baltimore, I spoke to a group of entrepreneurs at a conference sponsored by the National Association of Venture and Seed Investors. In Washington, I led a session at the fourth Angel Organization Summit and I was asked to be a part of the Advisory Board of the new National Angel Capital Alliance sponsored by the Kauffman Foundation. On the campus of University of Virginia, I kicked off a conference sponsored by the Darden School of Business.

I came home to Chicago on Friday to present a keynote address to the national conference for Collegiate Entrepreneur Organization. What a great organization! 1100 college students and faculty from all over the country. We sold out of books in a very short period of time.

On to an event by the Compnay of Friends in New York and Simmons College in Boston this week! A group of women will from the book will join me in Boston to discuss female entrepreneurship!
