Will Pate, you runs GoodBasic out of Canada focuses his business alot on business blogging consulting and online media monitoring. I was humbled by the review he wrote of the book. Here is an excerpt:

"Let’s get one thing straight: this is a no BS book about being an entrepreneur. Don’t expect a lot of phooey about how liberating it is to be your own boss, wishful thinking that your best qualities will guarantee your success, or that there are exactly ten steps to anything other than delusion. Barry talks straight about the mania, depression, exhaustion, family and friendship strain and potential bankruptcy that entrepreneurship can bring. He’s brutally honest about his own shortcomings, the mistakes he made and the price he paid.

Oh, there are libraries full of books about the strategy and tactics of business. But in the choppy waters of entrepreneurship knowing how to sail by the stars can feel academic while you run the risk of overwork seasickness, man overboard, bad customer icebergs, cash flow scurvy, partner mutiny, investor pirates or losing your emotional rudder on a reef. These may sound dramatic, but as an entrepreneur you run the risk of any of them every day of the week – learning how to deal with them is what makes You Need to Be a Little Crazy a great business book."
