I have been thinking about losing lately.

After a few weeks of my sons’ baseball games, neither son has won a game. It is hard to watch since like everyone else, I love to win.

I hate to lose. My friends tell me that is why I am not a good gambler. It doesn’t mean that I am a "sore loser". I don’t blame others for the losing. To me, that’s just pointless.

But, I don’t expect to lose. I want to win, but if I lose in business, I know I can come back. There are always other business prospects to call. There are always others that can use my services. Ok, they said no, now move on to someone that will say yes. I don’t have to waste time with someone that isn’t interested.

This is the toughest thing to learn in sales- get to a yes or no.
