I am fortunate to fly first class most times on American Airlines because of my frequent flyer miles. Last week, on my dinner tray was a folded card that simply said, “Unmask the Truth: No More Cover Ups

In the age of collapsing banks, financial markets and car recalls, this was the perfect title to attract my attention. When I read the card it talked about “a legal loophole that allows some U.S. wines to masquerade as something they’re not” – Champagne! The card further explains that only champagne can come from Champagne, France and that the folks in Napa Valley are misusing the word. Uh-oh!

The card asked me to sign a petition and tell my Congressman about it.

In this world of the high unemployment, two wars and skyrocketing healthcare, champagne is not high on my list of things to fix? Is it on yours?
