Jonathan Sapir is currently the CEO of SilverTree Systems, Inc., an application development company that specializes in building  solutions on top of cloud-based platforms like Amazon and Google. He has more than 25 years of experience in business and IT alignment, professional service company management, custom software development, software product development, offshore team development and project management. Jonathan was founder and CEO of SnapActive Corp., which built one of the first mashup tools, and was acquired in 2007 by BOSSdev. Previously, he was founder and CEO of InfoPower Systems Inc. for more than a decade where he built the company into a thriving midsize IT consulting firm in Chicago.

Prior to that Jonathan was a systems engineer with IBM in South Africa where he earned industry awards for his visionary work with early PC tools. He has authored numerous industry-related articles in various publications like Computerworld, and SOA World, and a book in 2003 on the future of IT, Igniting the Phoenix: A New Vision for IT, which foretold many of the Web 2.0 and social networking trends that are now coming to fruition. He received his bachelor’s degree from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in international relations.
