Not too many lawyers can start a company and become an innovative businessperson. Scott is one of those few. I assisted him in the early years of Scottevest (SeV), but he quickly outpaced my skills. Now he runs a multimillion-dollar empire from Ketchum, Idaho.

Scott is the founder and CEO of SeV. Before founding the company, Scott practiced real estate and corporate law. Scott received his J.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University College of Law in May 1992. But the law bored Scott; he was always an entrepreneur at heart. As a result of Scott’s accomplishments with SeV, he has been written about extensively, including several articles in the Wall Street Journal and New York Times and several college textbooks. Scott has since been featured in many TV shows, including the hit show Radical Sabbatical as well as Japan’s hit show The World’s Most Successful People.
