Yvonne Brown

I did not meet Yvonne knowing that she was a singer in a band years ago, but now that I know this, I like her even more.

An experienced industry executive, Brown has over 23 years of proven leadership experience in business management and technology. During her career, Brown served as managing consultant for major consulting firms including a stint at a big 5 organization. The founder of Ball of Gold Corporation and JAD Communications International left her practice of technical consulting to write and empower women to live their most meaningful life. Author of “Self Creation: 10 Powerful Principles for Changing Your Life”, she is also an executive coach and a national presenter of motivational and technology topics. Yvonne’s work has been featured on television. on radio talk show programs, and in local publications. She is often quoted in articles for Black Enterprise Magazine, Small Times magazine and the 2004 Prentice Hall textbook on Visual .NET.

Yvonne serves on several boards and is the immediate past regional director of Women in Technology International, Chicago Chapter. This expert motivator and coach was inducted into the IT Professionals Hall of Fame in 2002 and is listed in The International Who’s Who Historical Society of Professionals, and the Manchester Who’s Who among Executive Women. Yvonne lives in Chicago, Illinois with her husband and business partner Bill and son Charles. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from DePaul University in Chicago and was recently selected as a member of the Leadership Illinois Class of 2004 program.
