“Keep Calm and Carry On“- what a great slogan for our time. This British WWII propaganda poster is making a comeback all over the world during tough economic times. Printed on a bright red background, it has the Crown of King George VI. Originally created in 1939, it was to be distributed in case of a German invasion.
The invasion never came and 2.5M posters never were distributed. The should be distributed now. It is a great reminder for how we need to act in this economic crisis.
I was raised working in a family business. During the busiest of times I was told to “not panic and tend to the task before me.” It’s true you can’t totally ignore the world around you. You need to know what is happening and now, your job needs to get done, and get done well.
