Updating My Blog…While I am Flying!

It was a short flight to Kansas City today (enroute to Topeka, KS) but when the flight attendant announced that the flight was equipped with GO- GO Internet connect, I could not resist with the tech geek I am.

…and it is cool surfing the internet at 30,000 feet. I feel like the last barrier where you can’t use the internet or make phone calls (thru Skype or other VOIP). I am unsure if this is a good thing or bad thing since I am not a huge supporter of 24/7 availability.

It has been nice on long flights to do my work then watch a movie. I just hope surfing the net and working doesn’t replace the movies I love on long flights.

Now if the airlines could do something about on time arrival and the turbulence!
