I wish I had known about you earlier! Scott Allen of About.com recommended I check out what you are doing, and he was dead on. You have a wonderful site and a cool angle to entrepreneurialism - one that is true to my heart. It’s good to be the “odd-ball.”

meh. i read my blackberry all the time while i’m at the salon (even when they are highlighting or washing my hair). they don’t splash THAT much if u keep ur head back in the shampoo bowl. that man obviously hasn’t learned to pat his head and rub his tummy at the same time. it’s admittedly an art, but completely do-able.

Seems to me successful men are close to mothers. There is pretty consistent research that successful women are close to Dads.

On not learning from failure…part is a belief/hope/dream that getting something outside of us (more, better, new) will make life for us/family/kids better, solve problems, make us whole.

If only it were that easy.

A theme I’m seeing is “connecting” and I think there are brain underpinnings as well. People want to connect. Lots of new and different ways to do it, but the brain is hardwired to pursue.

As a marketer, I’m interested in gender differences in this as well.
