One trick we used at my 2nd company was to send out a return envelope with a stamp already on it - with every invoice. Our collections improved on average by 5 days. It was none confrontational and simply made the AP people's work easier. The result was hundred of thousands of dollars collected faster. That helps cash flow... a lot! Cash is king…
