SBDC

This post is sponsored by Microsoft in honor of National Entrepreneurship Week February 20 to 24, 2017. On this episode, I cohost with Melanie Gass from Microsoft and our guest is Kedma Ough on who can be your entrepreneurship advisor.

One of the best free business advisors out there for entrepreneurs is the national network of Small Business Development Centers (SBDC). They serve over 500,000 entrepreneurs a year and they are integrated into over 1,000 communities around the country to specially help owners scale their companies. They can help with general topics like business plans, marketing, technology, and access to capital. But just as importantly, they can assist in specialty areas such as franchising or youth entrepreneurship.

Kedma says that their job at the SBDC is to help entrepreneurs from the idea stage to getting out to the community and start making money!
