We have all heard of the "first mover advantage" that is, the person that establishes a viable business in an area has an advantage. I am unsure of this concept because we saw alot of situations where being first over the last 5 years was not necessarily a benefit.

While I was in Detroit last week attending a regional Angel Capital Association Meeting, one of the angels said that the first mover is many times overrun (or rolled over!) by the person with the "First Paver Advantage". I loved it!
