This post is sponsored by Microsoft in honor of National Entrepreneurship Week February 20 to 24, 2017 which starts today! On this episode, I cohost with Melanie Gass from Microsoft and our guest is Adam Wozney from Wix on how to build your website.
Here is an shocking statistic. Nearly half of all small businesses still don’t have websites.
This should not be that big of a surprise since the lack of knowledge in a particular area often keeps many entrepreneurs stuck. Adam Wozney describes an easy and quick way to build a website right now using their free drag and drop template especially if you have no technical knowledge. All that is needed is to know how to get on the internet to start developing your company’s brand and online presence. After the website is created, it is just as important to be able to update the content weekly with resources inside your company so every change does not bring additional expense.
Adam works out of the Wix lounge which is a unique co-working space in New York where he helps companies (who already use Wix) identify their brand and target market. In the evening, it is transformed into an event space for improving a wide range of business skills from search engine optimization to how to adjust for the rising minimum wage.
