An Economic Recovery Coming Soon to A City Near You

November 16, 2009 Things I don't Know Where to Put No Comments

The government says the recession is over. Ask any business owner or consumer and they will give you a different answer. There are still very few jobs and even less credit to buy homes or expand your business. in most of our minds, the Great Recession is still alive and kicking!

The recovery will come in 2010 for all of us but what should we do in the meantime:

If you own a business or have a job and have had a financially rewarding year:

1. Spend your money: hire people, invest in sales and marketing and shop early and often for the holiday gifts.

2. Pay your bills on time: There are so many large corporations that are paying in 90-120 days. Be a vendor that can still pay in 30 days if possible.

3. Borrow money: Prove to the banks that there are still people that can be trusted and will pay loans back.

4. Help others: It is amazing how rewarding it will feel.

If your business is struggling or you are out of work:

1. Keep looking for customers or job opportunities one at a time. Commit to doing it everyday.

2. Go to more networking events and talk to  anyone that will talk to you

3. In youron-job  or customer hunting, help others that are in need, It will boost your confidence and help them. Giving the gift of your time. It’s something you can afford now.

What are other suggestions you have for while we wait for recovery?
