Just returned from an intense set of presentations about the book. I spoke to Company of Friends groups in Stamford, CT, Montclair, NJ (where I was born), Morristown, NJ and of course Lower Manhattan. I also spoke to at a Brandeis University Alumni event (I am class of 1981)
It is bizzare to go back a speak in the town where I was born that I moved away from when I was a year old. In Morristown, I also got the opportunity to be the keynote speaker at a fundraiser for “Something Great” at the Park Avenue Club.
In Manhattan, I also got a chance to make a brief visit to ground zero where the World Trade Center once stood. I was awed by the area that was destroyed.
Barry,
I did not know you were from Montclair, NJ. That is where I grew up as well. Graduated from MHS in 1982.
I had the pleasure of sitting in on your talk at the University of VA Darden School on March 16.
Thanks for the inspiration!
