I saw this comming the moment I first heard about this crazy diet.
I thought it was all the debt the private equity investors put on the company that brought it down. While I’m sure the business has suffered, there is a business out there for the Atkins brand, just not enough business to pay for all the leverage the PE firms loaded on the company.
