In business, I am a pretty blunt person. I always try to say what is on my mind and sometimes as a result I stick my foot in my mouth. Guess it is the risk I take. So when I received this email from a past business associate that I had not heard in awhile, I just had to sit back and think, now this is alittle too blunt even for me…

“Barry, I’m catching up on old e-mails. I am well, thank you! My mother is
not; she passed in March.”
