Share the love with your customers on this Valentine’s Day. This is one of the best strategies for getting through the recession.
1. Be There When They Need You. Certainly return the call or email from them the same day (or sooner if possible). Show the love by replying to them immediately. If this is not possible, have an assistant call or email them to acknowledge for you.
2. Be Monogamous. Give 100% to Every Customer. Focus on doing your best each time with your client. No need to give 150%. They are not paying for it, but don’t get lazy with repeat customers.
3. Don’t Fake Love. Get to know them personally. Pass along valuable things for their business and personal interests even when you are not selling to them. Call for no apparent business reason. Ask about their family.
4. Find them New Lovers. Refer new customers to them and ask for nothing in return. If you can help their customer development of new customers of their own, they will love you forever.
5. Keep the Romance Alive. Show the love even after they buy from you. Keep that special relationship alive and they will buy from you again and again and again.
