1. I am thankful that this country is not in a depression. I wasn’t quite sure about that a year ago. I still live in my same house, drive the same car and I am still warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I appreciate this.

2. My clients who I have helped during the Great Recession. We have hung through this together and are in the process of coming out the other side. We are reshaping our businesses to fit the present reality.

3. Mary Jane Grinstead, my coauthor on BAM! who was my mentor 25 years ago at IBM and now a great person to be on a book writing journey.

4. That my entire immediate family will be going on a dream trip to Asia on a 50th birthday trip with me. I will see the world I have wanted to see for a long time,

5. All the people that read and comment on my blog, read my tweets or Facebook posts, read my books and listen to my radio show. Without you, I would just be talking to myself. How boring.

6. People that give me feedback and tell me what they think I am doing right, what I am doing wrong and what I need to do more of. It takes courage to give candid feedback. Without you, I would not be able to grow.

What are you thankful for?
