I am a week late with this email. but I was blown away by the timeliness of an email I received from Amazon less than an hour after the Steelers won the Super Bowl:
"Congratulations, Steelers! Get the same stuff worn by the Steelers in the locker room and visit our Super Bowl Fan Shop to see our entire selection of Super Bowl XL and NFL gear."
Below the message was the link to the Amazon Steelers Store. This is why I love email marketing. It is a heck of alot more timely and forces people to act.
