2012 has been an amazing year. A crazy one, yes! But an amazing one as well.
Just think of all the things we have been able to do this year! Sometimes with a push from you, or a pull from me. Sometimes with a little tug of war, an elegant dance, or a game of hide and seek! Sometimes with silence and pondering. And sometimes with a BANG, not a whimper!
So very often, we do not allow ourselves to celebrate what we have accomplished. Perhaps there’s no time. Or maybe you can’t and stubbornly refuse to acknowledge that what you’ve done this year is worthy of celebration.
Well, I’m telling you it IS worthy, and all it takes is a moment to reflect on a victory, a learning, or a moment of truth…to let it sink in with a smile, a nod, a breath of relief.
So let’s celebrate together for a moment, shall we?

Took care of others
Embraced new mindsets
Banished demons
Took baby steps and giant leaps
Held powerful conversations
Let someone else be heard
Found our leadership groove
Played well with others
Drew lines in the sand
Made music together
Created cacophony just for the helluvit
Got confused, then clear, then confused again
Enjoyed it immensely
Ran away in utter fear
Then ran back in anticipation
Because we were ready
So ready
To be honest with ourselves
