Back in Las Vegas for Pets

I am back in Las Vegas for a few days attending a trade conference for one of my clients who is coming about with a new pet products. Some astounding facts I have learned:

There are 358 million pets in the US

There are 297 million people in the US

Pet owners spend $35 billion on their pets in 2004. This is up 100% from 10 years ago!
