I am probably the only person on the planet that has not read Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad, Poor Dad. I recently read an article he wrote and one part made alot of sense;
"Many entrepreneurs fail to build a business. Instead, they work hard building a job they can own. They become self-employed rather than business owners."
I agree this is the mistake many of us make. If we are unable to build a team of people where we can delegate to leverage our experience, then we are not building a business- just a job. It is difficult to hire employees and give up some of that control especially since you think you can do it better. You built this business, right? Many entrepreneurs hire people weaker than them so they are not challenged at work. This is a losing game and will lead to overwork and exhaustion.
Nothing wrong with buying a job. Just understand that you will always work incredible hard and your earnings are capped.
