Marsha McVicker, the tenacious CEO of Errand Solutions has been at it for a long time. For me, she is the definition of resiliency. She has worked relentlessly over the past 7 years to build her successful business. This is why I have included her in both my books.

When I was talking to her recently, Marsha stated that when she was in the capital raising process, she asked 1900 people for money. Only 12 said yes. That’s about one half a percent. Those 12 people are very happy now. That ratio is about right for many entrepreneurs. I always tell people that raising money for your venture is not for the faint of heart. It takes all the time and energy you have… so go down that path only when you customers to showcase. It will give you the best chance of success.
