I wonder in business why people sometimes are just plain rude especially when they do not know me well enough to diss me. My assistant recently sent an inquiry about me speaking at a conference in the fall. Here was the response from the organizer: "
(Our conference) does not compensate speakers and since I assume Mr. Moltz likes to eat I don’t think there is a match here.
Was the person trying to be funny? A simple no would have done. This person should remember that the world is round. You meet the same people on the way up as you do on the way down!
