One of my clients recently introduced me to a business networking group called LeTip. It is based on the very simple concept of passing leads to other people in the group from clients that could use there help. This is the "trusted agent" in action. People are more likely to buy from a trusted referral source than as a result of any other "marketing method". Group members actually pass each other tip sheets with names of their clients that could use the help of another group member. For my client, who has difficulty finding time in their busy schedule to commit to marketing and sales, this provides the perfect way to get qualified prospects.

In fact in an ever increasingly digital world, the business owner can become “disconnected” from a stream of referrals and or word of mouth. It is now more necessary then years to be involved in a business relationship group. Just wanted to solidify Barry’s comments coming from a LeTip member.
