Yahoo featured an article today about a study done by the Kauffman Foundation t(one of the leading advocates of entrepreneurs in the world!) that found that the raising cost of health insurance is preventing entrepreneurs from starting businesses. Carl Schramm, CEO at the Kauffman Foundation asks:

"Would we have 100,000 more (business) starts next year if people thought they could go buy affordable coverage?" The study answers yes.

I could not agree more. One thing that prevents people from striking out on their own and keeps then in their jobs is health insurance. Individuals and small groups always pay more.
