When I was in Effingham last week, an Amish business man bought the book and gave me his card. I loved what it said on it. After his phone number, it simply says
"Leave a message"
In this world of 24/7, e-mail and instant messaging, this business person is telling us that he will not be at the phone waiting for your call. He will be in his workshop focusing on making the best cabinets for you. He promises to get back to you as soon as he can. There is no rush. He will be here.
How refreshing!
