Now that is Crazy! According to a recent Yahoo! Small Business survey, 56% of respondents wanted to own their own business later in life. That’s more than four times as many who simply want to retire and not work at all.
According to Warrillow, "Entrepreneurs over the age of 55 are currently one of the fastest growing small business segments. Although “seniorpreneurs” may be new entrepreneurs, they are savvy professionals who have many advantages over their younger counterparts. They usually have decades of corporate business acumen, superior networks and more financial resources, which all impact their choice of suppliers."
