Text Messaging

At 45, I am a bit old to start text messaging…but it does come in handy sometimes. I really like the abbreviations that come in handy:

IMTNG= I am in a meeting

WIIFM= What is in it for me?

SLAP= Sounds like a plan

Tag- You’re It!

I have never heard of tagging. But I learned now tagging is assigning your own keywords to things online like photos or blog entries so you can categorize them and locate them easily in the future.

Addicted to Email

AOL just released a survey about American’s email habits:

41% check their email first thing in the morning.

40% have checked it in the middle of the night.

61% check their personal email at work…three times a day.

With so much interest in email, are you missing out on targeting your customers with snappy emails?

German Spam

I have had to get use to living with Spam. Yahoo does a pretty good job of filtering it out. It is even a bit funny to see what the spammers are selling, what the phishers are trying to get me to bite on, the hackers are trying to do to destroy my computer.
