I traveled today to my 25th college reunion at Brandeis University outside Boston. I can’t believe that it has been 25 years. I don’t know too many people that are going back but I know one of my college roommates, Bruce will be there. The campus has grown alot. I am currently typing on a computer on campus that didn’t exist back then. It was weird to visit my old dorm room with my 10 year old son. Brandeis is the same place, but it is not at all the same place. The people and places seemed so important back then.
Unfortunately, I will need to leave the reunion to visit my mother who just had surgery on Martha’s Vineyard. I will be taking an 10 minute flight from New Bedford, MA to Martha’s Vineyard. What kind of plane takes an 10 minute flight? I also wonder how long the rubberband has to be for an 8 minute flight or how big the person has to be who throws the plane?
When you’re in Waltham… if you like homemade ice cream, take in Lizzy’s on Moody Street. I now live in Chicago and used to live there – the street has improved a lot over the years.
