I always get upset when someone tries to sell me something and ignores a very obvious objection. This is why I recently loved the catalog I received from Road Runner Sports. The only thing on the cover was “You Want Me To Buy Running Shoes Through the Mail?” Even though I do not run ever since I completed the 1984 Chicago Marathon, this question came up in my mind as a person that ran a catalog company.
When you open the cover, it reads “Yes, Risk Free and get 20% off and 60 days to Run in Your Shoes…what do you have to lose, call our Running Specialist…”
You got to love it. I might even pick up running again !
