In getting prepared for our trip to Australia and New Zealand this summer, I realized one of the most difficult challenges is how to power all of our devices while traveling abroad. I stop to count all the electronic gizmos we are taking with us. The inventory is as follows:
4 iPods (2 minis, 1 nano, one iPod Video)
2 Cell phones (one RAZR, one TREO)
2 Digital Cameras (2 Nikons)
1 DVD Player
1 DVD Sony Video Camera (Moving Pictures)
How do we power all the stuff on the airplane in economy class without power outlets? Solution: Belkin Battery pack for the iPod (bring plenty of AA Batteries). We also need to bring converters and rechargeable batteries. Will all the devices be able to share one converter? Watch out!
I go an iGo power supply and all the adaptor heads for my phones, cameras etc. etc. and now I travel with one charger…
