Until January, I will be unplugged and off the power grid. I believe as an entrepreneur and small business owner, it is nearly impossible to separate out your business and personal life. After all these years, I no longer try.
As a result, once (or twice) a year, I go on a long vacation where I do not check email, voice mail or any other social network. I simply can’t be reached. This is the one time of year I don’t offer “BAM! Good” service to my clients.
It is the only way I can truly let go and be on the trip with my family.
Happy Holidays and I look forward to contributing in the New Year!
You too- glad to have met you in 2009
Barry,
Be safe, and enjoy your family time!
Happy New year.
Joel and family
Love it Barry. I tried to do this a few weeks ago and then my 21 month old ended up in the ER and it was back to the grid for me. I hope your much-deserved vacation is fun and relaxing, and I’m looking forward to our work together in 10!
Kind Regards,

thanks- unfortunately it does not work with kids…:-)
Barry,
This is great! My wife and I were talking today and I said I would love to take off from Thanksgiving through New Year’s and do a couple of vacations in that time like NYC for the decorations and shopping, maybe a tropical trip or even a cruise.
When you work from home it is hard to separate work from home life and it begins to become a blur.
Hope you have a great time!
Happy Holidays!
Glenn
