American Thanksgiving is always a good time to pause and think about what we are thankful for. This is an especially important thing to do during these difficult and stressful economic times. It gives an all important perspective on our life as a whole.
What I am thankful for this year:
1. I can financially support my family doing something I really enjoy doing.
2. I have an opportunity to see my children growing, learning and maturing as they become their own people.
3. I see my wife fulfilling her life’s work in the fitness and mind/body area.
4. No matter what the business situation, I usually can find a way through, out or at least to the other side. I can always find actions I can take to give me another chance of success.
5. I am thankful that I get to meet so many people, hear their stories and touch their lives.
6. Barack Obama as president. I feel like we have taken our country back with someone intelligent running the place now.
What are you thankful for?
Thankful for everyone we have connected in 2008 to make productive and profitable!
As an entrepreneur, I’m thankful that my future is mostly in my hands and I’m not working for a large company waiting for the shoe to drop. While the environment isn’t that rosey for my business either, at least I’m the one in control and making the best decisions I can instead of being at the mercy of others.
I am thankful for the perspectives gained from being in the recruiting business for 24 years. Some years are better than others. There is always something new to learn about how to serve our customers, create new products and services and find a niche in the marketplace.
Developing resilience and a strong backbone also help!
I am grateful for the clients and candidates who trust us to help their businesses succeed.
Our community grows stronger with each hand that is outstretched.
