People pitch me all the time to get on my radio show. Now multiply this by thousands of times and imagine how much a producer gets pitched on a major television show. The competition is fierce, but it is actually easier than you think.
On my radio show today, I was very proud to have a longtime award-winning radio and television journalist and talk show host, Bill Moller. It was special for me because Bill was kind enough to have me on his show twice at WGN. About a year ago, Bill joined TC public relations to help businesses and individuals get attention and develop leads through the mystical magical powers of public relations.
Bill talked about the effective methods people use to get on TV and radio (and how to get invited back because you are a great guest) It is simpler than you think!
For those of you that listen often, you know that my family is into the martial arts. I have practice Seido Karate for 7 years and my 16 year old son has done it for 10. The training and philosophy have been a very important part of our lives.
My next guest was Jim Bouchard– a proclaimed Black Belt POWERVATOR. We talked about how you can think like a black belt to get ahead. He also talked about:
- The Top 5 Lies of Power
- How to use discipline, focus and personal responsibility to strengthen your business.
My last guest was Sam Baumel, an AVP at Hughes Communications. We talked about why the internet access is not unbiquitous and what small businesses can do about it!
