Writers Digest published this article in its November edition about that maybe a successful writing career takes more than talent and persistence. Francis de Sales is the patron saint of writers. I always said I could use all the help I could get.
This saint was actually quoted on his deathbed in 1662:
“My body be given to the Theatre of Anatomy to be dissected; for it will be a comfort to me if I can be of any advantage, when dead, having been of none, whilst alive.”
