I was reading Seth Godin’s latest post on how he gets unstuck.
Seth says that we can’t wait for the perfect path to present itself. Rather, he recommends a “Step by step, page by page, interaction by interaction” approach. As Seth says, “As you start moving, you can’t help but improve, can’t help but incrementally find yourself getting back toward your north star. You might not end up with perfect, but it’s significantly more valuable than being stuck.”
Take action. It may not be the right path, but at least you are now moving.
Great stuff. A great reminder that the path to achieving our goals is never linear or clearly defined. Seth’s post reminds me of the saying “any decision is better than no decision” becuase at least you are moving forward and that will help show the way. Thanks for sharing this. Great food for thought.
Thanks Ali- Motion is lotion!
