I had a great day with alot of students and faculty at Iowa State University (home of the Cyclones). It didn’t stop snowing since I arrive in Iowa on Thursday and did not end when I left late tonight to fly back to Chicago. This should get me ready for my Anchorage trip next week.
I spoke today in front of two groups, engineering and business students (about 400 people). The campus is beautiful with alot of “snowy” wooded areas. The students asked questions about how you get started as a entrepreneur. Are they born or made? How do you know it’s the right time to take that leap?
I admire how early on students get interested in business. I sure was not that way in college 25 years ago. I am glad they realize there are other job options in this world!
I want to thank Judi Eyles and everyone at the Iowa State Entrepreneurship Club for make this a very special visit for me.
