I did the last stop on the spring book tour yesterday in Kansas City….no more presentations for the summer until September 9 in Denver.

It was a fantastic event at The Kauffman Foundation (A $2B endowment to promote entreprenuership). I was the keynote at a gathering of alumni fo their Fast Trac program which trains entrepreneurs to start and run businesses (over 90,000 of them!). According to their site, “FastTrac is a practical, hands-on business development program designed to help entrepreneurs hone the skills needed to create, manage and grow a successful business.” The program has a great “track” record.

I presented to business owners that had done through the program over the past 10 years. We had a very interesting question and answer session. We talked alot of about failure. One gentleman said that we should all not be afraid to fail. I said that it is okay to fail, and if you can live with the results, you should go ahead and do it anyway.
