I traveled to Detroit today to present at Wayne State University. Judy Johncox, Director of Venture Developement put me up at The Inn on Ferry Street. This is probably one of the most charming places I have stayed. It is a set of Victorian Houses that act as the hotel. It very much has a bed a breakfast feel and the staff that runs it was wonderful.
I presented to a group of professors and administrators involved in tech transfer from the university. This urban university has a growing group of professors that are starting companies out of technology that they have developed.
