I have always been a big fan of zipcar, the car sharing service that I use instead of a second car. The car is parked a few blocks from my house. When I need a car for an hour or a day, I go online to reserve one of the cars in the lot. When it the time comes, I walk to the lot, scan my card, the doors open and I drive away. It costs about $9 an hour including gas and insurance. It is very cost effective and convenient to me.

I used the car today and unfortunately the person before me left the car a mess. Animal hair all over the seats and sticky spilled drinks. I immediately called zipcar customer service. They apologized for the problem and asked if I wanted to rent another car for my second appointment later in the day. I said no. I returned the car at 1:00 to the lot. At 4:30, I picked the car up again and it was cleaned! I was amazed. I had complained to customer service and in real time they did something about it! Thank you zipcar!
