Guess I never thought I would write these words. As I was walking along the beach today in Chicago, I saw something in the distance. I knew what it was, but I couldn’t comprehend it… It was a snowman made of sand. Or maybe I should call it a “sandman”. I never thought I would see this. Instead of a carrot sticking out of its mouth, it had a cigarette. Instead of coal for eyes, they used bottle caps. Ah, well, it was public city beach and guess they used what was available.
I saw a snowman on the beach today…

I love Chicago in the summer. Jogging/Walking/
Rollerblading/etc. along the lake and all the beaches is a great way to spend time in the summer. Here in Boston, the closest we have is the Charles River. Which don’t get me wrong, is nice – but the paths are not quite as wide and the view is not as great and there are no beaches.
