The two speaking engagements I did last week were in New York for NFTE and then for the Iowa Valley Commmunity College in Marshalltown, IA. Both were impressive. Steve Mariotti and NFTE have been doing a great job for 20 years educating high school teachers to show their students that entrepreneurship is a viable career path.
In Marshalltown, the community had their first ever Entrepreneurship conference. I am continually impressed how small rural towns of 30,000 have such a focus on helping people start businesses to help the economy.
