The Snohomish County Business Journal cited my book as a great bedtime reading for entrepreneurs.

“You Need to Be a Little Crazy: The Truth About Starting and Growing Your Business” by Barry Moltz addresses a side of entrepreneurship that other books ignore. Moltz, a serial entrepreneur and angel investor himself, talks about all the things that come before the bottom line, like passion, relationships, failure and authenticity. It’s a sobering story, but a refreshing read.”

BTW, Snohomish County is located on Puget Sound, between Skagit County to the north and King County (and Seattle) to the south. Covering 2,090 square miles, it is the 13th largest county in Washington. Snohomish County’s varied topography ranges from saltwater beaches, rolling hills and rich river bottom farmlands in the west to dense forest and alpine wilderness in the mountainous east. Glacier Peak, at 10,541 feet, is one of the highest mountains in the country.

I hope all 618,000 people in the county read this magazine!

BTW, the dominant tribe in this county was the Snohomish, the Indians spelling it ‘Sdoh-doh-hohbsh.’ Chief William Shelton, last of the hereditary Snohomish chiefs, said it meant lowland people. Other Indian lore says it might mean ‘a style of union among them’ of ‘the braves’. Other sources claim the name means ‘Sleeping Waters’. Still other spellings have given Sdohobich.
