What I am Thankful For 2023

I always use this blog annually to say what I am thankful for. There is always plenty and this year is no different.

My oldest son, Ethan is marrying a wonderful woman, Alice in April 2024.
I was fortunate to take another vacation (as seen above) with my family and this year we journeyed to Rapa Nui (Easter Island) and Chile.
Finally, I no longer wear a mask everywhere I go (except on an airplane).
I get to spend the every winter in Arizona in the sun riding my bike and climbing in my hiking boots. The older I get, the more I feel connected to the world when I am outside. I look forward to longer journeys (biking across America anyone?).
I will be able to take time to work next year to ensure democracy, not fascism for the government of our country.

I, too, am thankful for my family. I’m thankful for my family’s good health. I’m thankful for my friends.
I’m thankful we still live in a democracy. I’m thankful that my 30-year- old business has weathered the great recession and the pandemic. I’m thankful for your guidance, Barry.
